Your chance to brew the festival beer for this year’s festival – open auction
The successful bid for this year’s Festival Beer was made by a group of people in Hook Norton who have brewed a beer in memory of Kate Randall who passed away in May. The beer is named KatyLou.
This year, thanks to Hook Norton Brewery, we are again offering you the chance to be the brewer of this year’s Festival Beer. This can involve you as much, or as little as you like. Normally this means visiting the brewery for the whole day and being involved in every aspect of making beer in the on-site microbrewery including naming the beer and designing the pump clip. For more details of the package take a look at https://www.hooky.co.uk/visit-us/brew-your-own-beer.ashx.
The ideal time to attend the brewery and make the beer would be the first week of July. You also get to keep (if you wish) two barrels of the beer you have made.
This is a package that the brewery offers and has an approximate value of £500 but we would like to invite bids from anyone interested in making and/or sponsoring the festival beer. Everything we raise through this auction will be put into our donations pot following the festival. We will publish the highest bid on the website and social media every time it changes and you are welcome to bid at any time. To bid or ask for more information please send an email to [email protected] or speak to a member of the organising committee. Bidding will be open until 17.00 on Friday 16th June.
